College Counseling

The very first step in the college applications process is deciding what schools you will apply to.  There are some very good free college search engines these days, including the College Board, MyChances.net, and Peterson's.

But if you'd like the professional advice of someone who has been through the process hundreds of times, I am happy to help.  We begin with a phone or video chat interview and a personality inventory; I will get a sense of your priorities and interests, and we will go over your grades and board scores.  I will research a list of 15-20 schools, and after roughly a week, we will review your personalized list of schools in a follow up video chat.  

The cost for this service is $400, which you can purchase here.  After purchasing the service, you can schedule your first session on my public calendar.  Once I approve the session, you will receive a confirmation email.  

At the appointed time, you will initiate the video chat from within this website.  First, click on the video chat button under the "Begin Session" Tab.

A new window will open.  To initiate the call, click on the "Call Now" button by the picture of me.

It's very important that you are wearing headphones to reduce echo.  I have found that iPhone style headphones that have a built in microphone work best.
