About Me

In 2004, I received my Bachelor of Science in Latin American Studies from Georgetown University, and in 2007 I received an Ed.M. in Teaching and Curriculum from Harvard University, where I was an Urban Scholars Fellow.

I currently teach SAT/ACT prep and operate an independent college consulting practice in Miami Beach, Florida.  Since 2004, my teaching assignments have included directing the Scholars Academy and International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme at Miami Beach Senior High, leading the Global Studies Academy at Brownsville Middle School, and teaching American History at East Boston High School.

I have been traveling in Latin America since 1999, and have become fluent in Spanish and proficient in Portuguese.  My hobbies include photography, skiing, and singing karaoke.
